Spring break was very nice for me since I took the time to make a visit to my homeland! The luscious bright beautiful azaleas were in bloom. All along highway 49 South, you could see the giant azalea in it's brilliance in nature's grace.
Plant enthusiasts have selectively bred azaleas for hundreds of years. They have grown in climates that are on the southern cities and on the eastern southern coastline. The Azalea Trail is a designated path, planted with azaleas in private gardens, through Mobile, Alabama. I remember going to see these as a child and they are breath-taken they are so beautiful.
